How does delivery work?

Days 1–3: your sauna is dispatched from the warehouse and handed to a dedicated freight carrier with live tracking.
Days 7–14: the carrier calls ahead to schedule a window that suits you, then delivers curbside and lowers the crate to ground level.

What are the electrical requirements?

This model: Requires a 240V / 30A circuit — electrician required.

Standard-outlet models plug into a regular 120V household outlet (NEMA 5-15) — the same plug as a hair dryer. No electrician, no rewiring.
Models listing a dedicated 20A circuit, dual circuits, or 240V service need a certified electrician to confirm — or install — the right circuit before delivery day.
Placement: plug straight into the wall outlet — skip extension cords and power strips. The cord exits at the base of the sauna, so plan for an outlet nearby.
Running cost: an electric sauna stove draws considerably more than an infrared cabin, and takes longer to bring the room up to temperature. The stove’s kW rating in the specification above is what sets your cost per session.

Assembly

This model ships flat-packed and is assembled where it will stand, so decide on the spot before delivery day. The manufacturer's manual specifies 2 adults for the build — the wall panels are heavy and have to be held upright while they are seated and fixed. That is the manual's figure, not ours.

The base has to be ready first. Golden Designs requires a level, load-bearing surface — a concrete pad or a wood deck is ideal; on bare ground you need concrete blocks or similar so the sauna cannot settle over time. The floor panel must be fully supported.

The stove is not a plug-in appliance. The manual is explicit: it “must be hardwired by a certified electrician,” with no adapters and no extension cords. This model: Requires a 240V / 30A circuit. Book the electrician before the pallet arrives, not after.

Tools the manual asks you to have on hand: Battery Operated Screwdriver or hand-held Philips Screwdriver, Rubber Mallet, Claw Hammer, Leveler, Ladder.

Maintenance

Inside: kill the breaker before cleaning. Vacuum or sweep the floor, then wipe the benches and walls with plain water and a soft cloth. No liquid or aerosol cleaners, no benzene, no alcohol, no strong chemicals — anything absorbed into the wood will off-gas the next time the room is hot. Never stain or seal the interior; it has to stay bare. Clear perspiration and debris off the floor after each session, and never obstruct the ventilation vent.

Stove and stones: care for these to the heater manufacturer's instructions, not the sauna manual — the two are separate warranties. Stones need to be stacked so air can move between them; packing them badly makes the stove run hot and is a genuine hazard. Keep the wooden heater guard fitted.

Placement: this model is not rated to stand directly in the weather. Indoors, or outdoors only under a covered structure such as a roofed patio. If in doubt about your spot, call us first — (307) 201-4597.

One more from the manual worth knowing: this is a residential sauna, so for every four hours running it wants an hour off to cool down.

*Limited Lifetime Warranty: Golden Designs, Inc. warranties the sauna room and its attached
electronics against defects in material and workmanship for the life of the product from the
original date of purchase. This sauna is for indoor use or outdoor use when protected from the
outdoor weather elements by a structure that includes a water-proof roof. When not in use
and placed outdoors, a water proof cover must be used to cover the sauna room or the
warranty will become void. Any damage due to direct exposure to outdoor weather elements
such as rain, snow, sun, wind or extreme temperatures will not be covered by this warranty.
Any damages as a result of modifications made to the sauna or its components will void this
warranty.
Extent of Warranty: This limited warranty applies to products manufactured or distributed by
Golden Designs, Inc. under the Golden Designs Inc. brand name, delivered in the continental
United States or Canada and extends to the original purchaser at the original site of installation
only. This warranty becomes valid at time of purchase and terminates either by specified time
frame, owner transfer, or relocation. The warranty extends to the sauna room and excludes the
stove as it is covered by its own manufacturer warranty. Your sales receipt showing the date of
purchase of the product is your proof of purchase.
Manufacturer Warranty
All Golden Designs, Inc. products are manufactured with the highest quality appliances and are
warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship at the time of delivery. The
appliance warranty is extended through the manufacturer for the product including, but not
limited to: sauna control panel and connected wire harnesses. All exchanged parts and products
replaced under this warranty will become the property of Golden Designs, Inc. Golden Designs,
Inc. reserves the right to change for any part not covered under the existing warranty. Any parts
determined to be defective must be returned to Golden Designs, Inc. at its discretion to obtain
warranty service. You must prepay any shipping charges, export taxes, custom duties and taxes,
or any other charges associated with the transportation of the parts. In addition, you are
responsible for insuring any parts shipped or returned. You must present Golden Designs, Inc.
with proof of purchase documents (including the date of purchase). Any evidence of alteration,
erasing or forgery of proof of purchase documents will be cause to VOID this limited warranty.
Products on which the serial number has been defaced or removed is not eligible for warranty

Warranty Limitations
This warranty does not apply if the unit has been subject to full commercial use, negligence,

Surface cracks are not considered defects in material or workmanship, as they are normal
characteristics of all woods. This includes minor cracks due to wood expansion and
contraction. Note: Since the wood used in construction has been kiln dried, a certain amount
of expansion and contraction occurs in the wood in a sauna environment.

products or other secondary or incidental or consequential costs, expense or damages - which
may include the removal of permanent structures or other custom fixtures or the necessity for

Great Sauna

The sauna has met all of my wife and my expectations. The assembly was simple and straightforward. It took us less than an hour and a half to assemble the unit. I was impressed with the quality of the construction. I felt it was a good balance of solid materials while maintaining a reasonable weight for shipping and assembly by the customer. The freight company who delivered the sauna was excellent. My house is located in Iowa on a county maintained gravel road, a mile from the nearest paved road. When I received the call from the freight company's representative to arrange the delivery, I explained I was prepared to meet them at a local shopping center with my flat bed trailer to transfer the spa and bring it home. She said there was no need. Their driver brought it to my house and placed it in my garage. This may not be true of all freight companies or all areas of the country. In the end, very happy with my purchase.

When I lived in PA, I got a 2 person sauna from Golden Designs, and during long and cold winter, it helps a lot. Golden Designs' service is excellent. Now I am living in GA, it is warmer, my wife still want a sauna. So, I purchased this 1-2 person sauna from same Golden Designs. It is easy to install. The Sauna works well.

Amazing cold plunge, the .6hp chiller gets the water extremely cold quickly and it's cheaper than other models online. Well worth it.

Incredible process and product

The process of shipping and installing was an absolute breeze. I am not the most handy and I was able to do everything but the front panel by myself. It is close to 200 pounds, so get a few helpers especially if you're attempting stairs. It is comfortable and beautiful. The speakers and lighting give it a cool vibe. I would recommend to anyone who wants a sauna in their house.

Ive had the sauna for a bit over a month and have been using regularly. Assembly was pretty straightforward with the only hiccup being the assembly of the bench. Not sure why it was recommended to build the bench after the panels were up. It would have been easier to put it together prior to the last panel going up. One drawback has been the amount of time it takes for the sauna to reach 140 degrees. Right now it takes about 90 mins on average and the highest temperature that Ive been able to reach has been 142 degrees. Also, there is no way that 4 adults will be able to comfortably fit in this sauna. Overall, Im satisfied with the product.

Great purchase

I did lots of research about saunas and found the reasons to sauna regularly were several. I decided to try this sauna because it would not require additional electrical work and the foootprint would work nicely in my sunroom. So I made the purchase. First off it came much quicker than it was supposed to and the packaging looked fine. The paperwork says two people could assemble it in about an hour but with my daughters help it only took about 20 minutes. The instructions were clear and the sauna fit together perfectly. Ive had the sauna for nearly a month and used almost everyday and Im really pleased with how it has performed. The heat is consistent, I use the chroma therapy lights and the Bluetooth speaker all the time. If youre thinking about a sauna this has been a perfect choice for me. However I think it says for one to two people - I have to disagree its a one person sauna.

I have for many years been interested in purchasing an infrared sauna, and I finally saw my way clear to purchasing the Dynamic Barcelona 1-2 person infrared sauna.

Nicely designed and built sauna

Bought this sauna due to limited space in my home workout room and found it an excellent fit. The unit was easy to assemble - needing help only to move the panels from the garage and steady and attach the first 2 sides. Gives a very nice, pleasant dry heat. Takes my unit about 14 minutes to heat to 125 degrees. It's stretching it calling this a 2 person sauna tho' - maybe 2 small children. I couldn't have been happier with the thorough updates from the company about order and shipping times, and the shipping company delivered sooner than promised and provided excellent customer service as well.

Great sauna to have

Almost impossible to setup alone, you need another person to hold the walls up to connect. After this heats up for 30-40 min its ready to use (130 degrees), mine also will get up to 148 usually within an hours time. Infrared tiles work great, although I think I would get rid of the bottom/floor one, to eliminate sweat shorting it out. Its somewhat a pain to be toweling yourself off so the sweat doesnt drip to the floor. Had mine for a year now and it still smells of wood when I walk in it. I did buy a pad for it, and had to customize it to fit, but it works great. Bluetooth/speakers work great to set up a device outside (the sauna) to watch - which is really a great way to pass the time by, as you sweat it out. Anytime I feel a little under the weather, I jump in this sauna for 30-40 mins and I feel great afterwards. Also I always feel great waking up the next after using this sauna

Great Sauna. Heats up a little slow so you have to plan for that. A wifi enabled controller so you could turn it on while you are away would be great. Definitely good for 1 person, cozy for two and 4 would be tight

I was impressed at how straightforward it was to assemble. It arrived on the truck within a couple weeks. The max temperature it reaches is about 141 degrees, but it is plenty hot enough for a very deep sweat. Ive used it daily since the electrician came and installed the new outlet, which was about 2 weeks ago. We are loving it.

Got it assembled with no problems. Parts are precisely cut and finished, a pleasure to work with. I already had the 20 amp outlet necessary for this model installed. I've been using it nearly daily since it arrived last month and could not be happier. I bought a pair of cedar backrests which allow you to lean back without touching the ir emitters and would recommend them. I get the deep sweat I've been craving, as often as I want, without leaving home or paying spa fees. I'm totally happy with the quality, functionality and esthetic appeal of this sauna. Is it safe to use a traditional sauna every day?

Yes — daily use is fine for most healthy adults, and it is the norm in Finland. Traditional heat is a lot more intense than infrared, so sessions are shorter: 10–20 minutes is normal, and it is worth building up rather than starting there. Ladling water over the stones raises the humidity and makes the same temperature feel considerably hotter.

Hydrate before and after, and step out immediately if you feel dizzy or unwell. One practical note from the manual: this is a residential sauna, so for every four hours running it wants an hour off to cool down. If you have any medical condition, heart concerns, or are pregnant, talk to your doctor first.

What warranty does this sauna come with?

All saunas we sell come with a manufacturer's warranty covering the heaters, wood panels, electrical components, and controls. Warranty lengths vary by model — check the Features & Specifications section on this page for the exact warranty terms for this sauna.
