Panels clip together into the shape and lift out as a unit when you want the table back. The right choice if the guard is going to live on the fire pit most of the year.

The same tempered glass, hinged so it folds down rather than coming apart. Worth the difference if you take it off often or store it somewhere tight over winter.

The questions we actually get.
How do I know which size I need?
Measure the burner opening, not the table. A 24-inch square burner takes a 24-inch square guard even when the table around it is 45 inches across.
If the burner is round, measure the diameter. If it is linear, measure both sides. Send us the numbers and we will confirm.
Does a wind guard reduce the heat?
A little, because it changes where the heat goes — it holds the flame upright instead of letting wind lay it flat. Most people find the fire more usable with one, not less, because a flame that keeps blowing out produces no heat at all.
Is the glass safe that close to the flame?
It is tempered glass made for the purpose, and it sits around the burner rather than over it. It gets hot in use like any part of a fire pit, so let it cool before handling.
Can I leave it on all year?
You can, but it lifts out in a minute and glass is easier to clean indoors. If it stays on, a weather cover over the whole table is the thing that keeps soot and rain off both.
