What actually arrives.
One crate, delivered by freight to the kerb. The burner is fitted into the concrete shell before it ships, and the decorative aggregate you choose comes with it — you are not ordering the media separately.

Ignition is the expensive decision.
Finish and aggregate change how the piece reads. Ignition changes what it costs, what it outputs, and whether you need an electrician.

Cheaper, simpler, tank-capable
A chrome key valve lights it. No electrician, no outlet, and it can run from a portable propane tank — the hose and regulator are ordered separately. Rated 65,000 BTU across the range.
- Electronic
Push button, remote, roughly double the output
Push-button start with an on/off remote included, and 90,000 to 150,000 BTU depending on the model. It needs a 120V outdoor receptacle grounded to local code, and it requires a fixed piping gas supply — not a portable LP tank.

The questions we actually get.
What is the difference between match lit and electronic ignition?
Three things, and the price gap is real.
Match lit uses a chrome key valve, needs no electrical supply, can run from a portable propane tank, and is rated 65,000 BTU. Electronic ignition adds push-button start and an on/off remote, roughly doubles the rated output to between 90,000 and 150,000 BTU depending on the model, needs a 120V outdoor receptacle, and requires a fixed piping gas supply.
Can I run it from a propane tank?
On match lit models, yes — the 3/8″ × 144″ hose assembly and regulator are available separately for LP models, and Dekko makes a propane tank cover.
On electronic ignition models, no. Dekko states that electronic ignition burners require a fixed piping gas supply and are not for use with portable LP tanks. That restriction is printed on every one of these product pages.
Can it sit on a wood deck?
Yes, with a deck insulation kit — Dekko requires one when the fire pit is installed on a wood or composite deck. The kit includes basalt material and instructions.

Will the finish match the photograph exactly?
No, and that is the material rather than a fault. Every piece is cast, so texture and tone vary a little from piece to piece and from the photograph. Neither we nor Dekko treat that variation as a defect.
Screens shift colour too. If the finish matters, ask for a swatch before you order rather than after.
