Dynamic Avila Review: The Same Cabin as the Barcelona, With an Extra Heater
Identical interior. Identical price. One more panel. It's the closest thing to a free upgrade in the whole Dynamic range, and almost nobody points it out.
The Dynamic Avila costs $1,999, which is exactly what the Dynamic Barcelona costs. The two cabins have exactly the same interior, exactly the same exterior, the same hemlock, the same glass door, the same chromotherapy, the same 120V plug and the same warranty. Put them side by side in a room and you would struggle to tell them apart.
The Avila has seven heating panels. The Barcelona has six.
That is the entire review, really. But it's worth showing the working, because it's the kind of detail that gets flattened out of most product pages — and because the capacity label on both still needs translating.

One row differs. At the same money, the Avila gives you an additional panel, which means a little more radiant surface pointed at you and marginally more even coverage around the cabin. It is not a transformation — seven panels versus six is a refinement, not a different class of sauna — but it is a genuine specification advantage at an identical price, and there is no corresponding disadvantage anywhere else on the sheet.
Same room, same money, one more heater. If you're choosing on specification alone, this is the easiest call in the range.
The honest caveat: cabin shape and door placement do differ slightly between models in this family, and some people simply prefer how one looks. That's a legitimate reason to choose the Barcelona — we've written it up in full in the Barcelona review. Just don't choose it believing you're getting more heater for your money.
The capacity line, translated
The Avila is sold as a 1–2 person cabin, and the manufacturer's own specification adds a parenthetical that most retailers quietly drop: "Compact Unit — Ideal for 1 Person."
We'd echo that, and we'd rather say it now than after a freight delivery. The interior is 36 inches wide by 32 inches deep. Two adults physically fit in that. Whether two adults will enjoy an hour in it several times a week is a different question, and the answer depends on how fond of each other they are.

Two details worth pulling out of that table. "Dedicated outlet recommended" does not mean an electrician — it means don't share the socket with a tumble dryer or a space heater. And indoor use only is a hard limit, not a preference; this cabin is not built to sit in a garden.
Standard or Elite?
The Avila Elite is $2,199, and the difference is exactly one specification: the same seven panels in Ultra Low EMF form, rated 3–5 mG rather than 5–10 mG, at the same 2–3 inch measuring distance. Same cabin, same size, same everything else.
So it's $200 to roughly halve the published rating. If you'll use it several times a week for years, or EMF is something you actively think about, that's a small premium for a real spec difference. If you're an occasional user on a tight budget, the standard Avila is still a genuine low-EMF cabin rather than a compromise.
Worth holding onto: those figures are measured 2–3 inches from the panel, which is considerably closer than you actually sit. Where it's brilliant, and where it isn't

- A first sauna where simplicity matters most
Look elsewhere if
- Two people will use it together regularly
- You want to lie down rather than sit — height is 67"
- You want it outdoors. Indoor only, no exceptions.
- You want full spectrum near and mid infrared
- You want traditional steam heat — this is infrared, 118–132°F
- You want cedar; this is hemlock
Before you order the Avila
- Measure 39" × 36" on your actual floor, plus room to swing the door.
- Check the route in — one box, 285 lb shipping weight, and it still has to make the stair turn.
- Decide honestly whether it's a one-person sauna for you. The manufacturer thinks it is.
- Pick your outlet — standard 120V, just not one already shared with a heavy appliance.
- Decide standard or Elite — $200 is the only difference and it's purely the EMF rating.
