Best Infrared Saunas Under $1,500

Here's the truth about this budget: under $1,500, the field of saunas worth owning is very small — of everything we carry, exactly one model lands under it. Marketplace listings at this price usually come from resellers the manufacturer has no relationship with, so a claim is yours to chase. These are the models an authorized dealer can genuinely stand behind — ranked, with one honest stretch pick.

How We Chose

What $1,500 should get you

The trap at this price point isn't paying too much — it's buying a sauna that's cheap for a reason. We judged every pick against three non-negotiables.

A warranty that exists

A manufacturer warranty that will actually be honored — which means an authorized dealer, not a marketplace reseller. Both picks here carry the full 5-year heater and electronics coverage.

Verified EMF ratings

Budget saunas often skip EMF ratings entirely. Both picks here are ultra-low EMF (3–5 mG at the bench) — better-rated than many saunas at twice the price.

No hidden costs

Free freight delivery, standard 120V plug (no electrician), tool-light clasp assembly, and monthly payments (0–36% APR). The sticker price should be the whole price.

The Shortlist

The picks, ranked

Dynamic Sicily 1-Person Ultra Low EMF Sauna

Best Under $1,500

Dynamic Sicily — 1-Person Compact

$1,499.00 · from $125/mo est. (0–36% APR) · Dynamic Saunas

At $1,499, the Sicily is the sauna that makes this price bracket real instead of theoretical: the manufacturer's 5-year warranty on heaters and electronics (1 year on the wood), four ultra-low-EMF carbon panels (3–5 mG), Pacific Cedar construction, chromotherapy and red light, and a Bluetooth speaker. It plugs into a standard 120V outlet, ships free in one 159-lb box, and the 35.5″ × 28″ footprint fits rooms most saunas can't. On monthly payments it's about $125/mo (est., 0–36% APR) — this is the best-value sauna we sell at any price.

Dynamic Compact Tall 1-Person Ultra Low EMF Sauna

Best Tall Format

Dynamic Vero — 1-Person Compact (Tall Format)

$1,599.00 · from $133/mo est. (0–36% APR) · Dynamic Saunas

The Vero sits just over the line at $1,599 and exists for one reason: headroom. We've left it here because it's the closest thing to the Sicily, and pretending it still fits the budget would be the kind of thing this page exists to warn you about. It's the tall-format version of the same ultra-low-EMF platform as the Sicily, and it's the pick if you're taller or simply want a more open-feeling cabin. Same standard plug, same free freight, same warranty terms — the $100 difference is purely about which cabin shape fits your body.

Worth the Stretch

Dynamic Gracia — 2-Person

$1,999.00 · from $167/mo est. (0–36% APR) · Dynamic Saunas

An honest entry that breaks our own rule: the Gracia is $1,999, not under $1,500. We include it because it's the question every under-$1,500 shopper eventually asks — what does more money actually buy? Here, it buys a second seat, a larger 39″ × 36″ cabin, and seven low-EMF heaters instead of four. If there are two of you, or you want room to stretch out, the extra ~$400–500 is better spent here than on accessories. If it's just you, save the money — the Sicily loses nothing that matters.

Our Methodology

How this list is made

We're an authorized Dynamic, Maxxus & Golden Designs dealer, and this list only includes saunas we sell and support — prices shown are live from our catalog. At the time of writing, exactly two saunas in our 99+ model range come in under $1,500; rather than pad the list with accessories or grey-market comparisons, we ranked those two honestly and added one deliberately over-budget pick so you can see what the next tier buys. When the lineup or pricing changes, this page changes. Questions about whether the budget pick is right for your space? Call (307) 201-4597 — we'll tell you straight.
